Price Check Kubota BX23

New to the forums, I'm looking to sell my Kabota BX23. I'm actually not sure what year it is and was curious what I should list it for on craigslist. It has 850 hours on it and has been well maintained. I think I'll list it for 12,000 with a little room to negotiate. Thoughts?

I only paid $14K for a BX24 new..in the northeast to boot.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I forgot to mention I'm including a 12" auger with assembly and a rock-rake. I'd take 11k but just wanted some room to come down if needed. I'll let you know what happens.

You know the norm for Craigslist is $3500 shipped through a broker prepaid (oh, and you have to be recently divorced, out of the country, and use the same picture in every state)!!

I purchased my BX23 last Sept. It has 520 hours with loader and backhoe attachment...paid 11K for it. Cant say for sure what year it was manufactured. Does anybody have a sure fire way of telling how old this tractor might be?

Really? That much huh? See I bought one for only only $1350. Money was wired right to Jamaica... now I'm just waiting for it to arrive, said it would be fast shipping but its been about 9 months :laughing::laughing::laughing:


If you haven't already you really need to take a look at Used Tractors For Sale at TractorHouse.com: John Deere Tractors, used farm tractors and farm equipment, tractors for sale, Case IH, New Holland, Agco, Kubota They have by far the biggest tractor selection and is a good estimate for the value.

I believe many of the parts on the 23 seem a little bit heavier than later models. Paneling on the BH, levers, and some other areas I have looked on when I compared them. We won't go into the fenders, but it just seemed to be of a more stout unit.

It does lack an aternator though!
