My new BX1870 only has 30 hours on it.
I was using it on Saturday mowing, then moving some dirt. Suddenly engine RPMs fell off and it acted like it was going to stall but stayed idling rough. I shut her down waited a bit and she started right up but continued to run rough with no power. No warning lights, tank about half full, running about at normal temp.
Manged to get it back to garage. After checking oil, air filter, radiator etc. engine started up fine like nothing happened. Next day, mowed about an acre and same situation recurred.
This time when I shut her down, she wouldn't start back up. Waited about 30-40 min later, started right up like normal. Put her to bed!
Also, is there a way to disengage the HST transmission so you can push it easier? Can't find that in books.
