Larry - The only Kubota manual you will find for free would be the parts manual. Owners and service manuals (work shop manual) must be paid for. Here is a link to Messicks where Evil quoted the price Kubota PN#97897-12462.

This site has most of the parts manuals but not one for the BX1800. You might try the BX2200 or BX1500. Maybe some of the parts are the same.

I bought a parts manual that covered the BX 2230, 2200, 1800, and 1500, mowers and FEL's off eBay for about $8.

Whether that was black market or not, I didn't ask and don't wanna know. But I've found it very useful.
