Well, Im still new to this so bear with me. I have a Land Pride 5ft. Bush hog and I cut my hay field with it. I don't have the equipment for baling myself and I haven't found anyone who will bale it and give me a cut for the hay, so I cut it.

I need help setting the height on my bush hog. It's a rear discharge and I had a problem with bogging it down with too much grass, so I lowered my wheel a notch and even picked up the front so as to cut semi level. Now I can mow over ground which I have mown before with no problem, and I am now scalping the ground. At first I thought it was ant mounds, but I now realize it was simply the ground. Any tips on cutting more efficiently will be appreciated.

Best advice I have is to "edit" your post, go to "advanced" and change your post title to "Help adjusting bush hog".

There are thousands of members (with other tractors) who have bush hogs. Mostly the B 7800 people click your post because your title suggests that it is about a B 7800. It's not - your inquiry is about bush hogs, so they just bail out. Only a small portion of know about bush hogs so it might take quite a few clicks to get someone knowledgable (if ever).

Understood you're new at this, just a tip to get you better responses. Like a lot of free advice, this is not guaranteed :D

Perhaps better advice is to just abandon this post and start a new thread in "attachments" forum.

I don't think thread titles are editable once created.
