Kubota B3200 with 3pt County Line Log Splitter from TSC

Hi all,

Looked many places and could not find much information on what splitter would work well on the back of my B3200. Ended up going out on a limb and buying the County Line 3 point splitter offered by Tractor Supply Center.

Only glitch was that I had the outlet and return on the hydraulics reversed, easy fix. If the upload works I am attaching video that shows the splitter in action, tractor at 1200 RPM splitting green black walnut.

Would run faster if I throttled up the tractor.

Not sure of price now, around $750, bought it earlier in the summer, just got around to getting the video up.

I'm glad you are satisfied with it. I got tired of the engine problems with a standalone splitter and bought a Timberwolf PTO powered splitter. I run the tractor at 1500 rpm, which gives me a reasonable speed. That's one drawback to the tractor run splitters.

I run the Timberwolf on my M5040. One time I tried it on the B2710 (20 hp pto), ha! When the ram retracted (no load), and the pressure relief kicked in, it instantly stalled the B2710!

Yup the speed will depend on your tractors flow rate. Or if you go the PTO driven way then it will depend on the flow rate of the PTO pump pushing it. Ours are 20 GPM for the 20 and 30 tons and the 16 ton units are 16GPM. Tractor Log Splitters | 3 Point Wood Splitters | PTO Log Splitters

Are you running off Power Beyond? or off the loader valve body? I have power beyong and mine runs on 1/4 lines, and my flow rate is 5gpm. 1/4 lines will support 5gpm, but many of the connecors I looked at were limited to 3gpm. I ended up going up to 3/8th connectors and they support 5gpm.

I'll need to check, not sure. If I put the bigger fittings on I anticipate an increase in speed.

I also noted you have the bidirectional cutting powerhorse, looks good!

My splitter is a 13 ton with a 3 1/2 cylinder.... It's rated for 13 tons but with the pressure the tractor puts out it's closer to 10 tons. I haven't found anything I couldn't split yet and I've done stuff up to 24 or 26 in in diameter.

I have been very happy with my little splitter it has a limit of 19" but I usually cut my wood at 16 or 17" for the woodstove.

I bought this unit a year ago. I tossed the 3 Point setup and made a bracket to fit on the Loader. It's a Quick attach.
I've been very happy with it. I have Flush Face connectors on my tractor so my guess is these connectors pass more fluid. At 1200 RPM it runs fast enough for me to push the Return lever and get the split wood off and a new piece up and ready. No need for the hydraulics to go faster then me. I think SPEECO makes the unit and it's relabeled for COUNTYLINE and HUSKY. I see the last post was in 2013.. you guys still happy with your units?
