Hello all. Forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I am having problems with my lights. The headlights wont work and the flashers/hazards wont shut off. Everything else seems ok.

Switch on dash does nothing. Hazards keep flashing, lights dont work.

I pulled the wiring for the switch on the dash. Hazards keep going.

Pulled the flasher/hazard fuse and flashers continued to flash.

Pulled main fuse and of course they stopped.

Pulled the flasher/hazard relay and they stopped.

My tractor does not have a cab. No turn signals etc....

In my case I could care less about the hazards. dont need or use them. Always bumping the darn switch with my knee turning them on unintentionally.

I am trying to determine the issue. Bad relay? Bad wire? Bad something else? Not going to pay $80+ for a relay I dont need. Looking for suggestions and thoughts on the problem considering my situation.

Thanks

Let me give you a method to approach a problem like yours.

Without a wiring diagram and a troubleshooting section, your likelyhood of success is low.

Google tractordata.com Kubota B3030 spec.
You will see the model preceding your 3030 and the one after. In your case B3350 & B2630

Now go to kubotabooks.com and see if you can find a workshop manual or an owner's manual with a wiring diagram for your model or the other two.
I think the answer will be no but you need to approach future problems in the same way.

This next link will take you to a site where for $10 you can download a high quality WSM for your tractor
Kubota B3030 Tractor Workshop Manual PDF Download

I have bought several of their manuals in order to help other forum members and this is why I recommend their stuff. It is not fuzzy photocopied a dozen times crap.

Consider joining the Orange forum which deals only with Kubota's
Kubota Talk - OrangeTractorTalks - Everything Kubota

Searching on that forum is far more likely to give you needed info.
Often, rodents chewing on wires behind the dash is the cause as the bare wires with chewed off insulation start touching each other and weird things happen.
