Kubota B20 3 Pt. Hitch too Narrow

I have a B20 with the 750 backhoe on it. Last week I removed the backhoe for the first time and tried to put a box blade on the 3 pt. hitch. The arms are way to narrow!

My lift arms only spread 18.5 inches (normal is bout 26 inches). The lift arms seem to be hitting on the rops where it bolts to the tractor. Anybody else had this problem on a B20 or have any idea of how I can work around this?

Do you have your lower lift arms backwards (attached to the wrong side)

I will check to see if they are on backward and take some pictures when I am back out where the tractor is on Saturday.

I just came across the same problem. I purchased a post hole drill from Tractor Supply, disconnected the backhoe (first time it has been off in 20 years so you can imagine the fun) and found to my dismay that the lower arms would not spread wide enough to fit the wishbone from the new posthole drill. [and they are not on backwards] Same problem, the lower arms hit the frame of the ROPS. I was considering removing the ROPS, however the pin for the low arms is part of the ROPS!!! Anyone have a solution short of bending the lower arms so that they fit the wishbone??

Return the post hole digger and get one that is made for a compact tractor like the L7200JR by Leinbach.

You can reverse the pins on the implement in such a way that they point inward instead of outward. This will get you a couple of inches. I've done this with post hole digger successfully.
