Kubota 3910 ran out of water and will not run

Gone for sure and needs to go to the dealer to be rebuilt. Hope your neighbor has a large wallet, he will need it.

Of course it didn't show on the temp gage. No water in it equals no indication.

As 5030 said, a temp gauge, in this case of huge fluid loss, only confirms the damage was done already.

They didn’t for me, said it wasn’t a mechanical failure so they didn’t cover it. Shocked me. That’s about the time I stopped using them.

Kubota has never produced a model 3910.

regardless of what model it is, it's toast. Find it somewhat hard to believe the owner didn't 'smell' the engine getting hot or maybe his smeller don't function.
