Kubota 2380 Hydrostatic question

Was pushing snow and took my foot off the pedal and the tractor kept coasting. Realized there was no hydrostatic whing noise. The tractor moved forward and reverse but it never slowed when I took my foot off the pedal. Checked fluid and it was fine.Why would the hydro not slow down when I take my foot off the pedal or make the whining noise ?

Did the pedal return to the neutral position?

maybe a chunk or ice/snow jammed it temporarily.

in general, sometimes I have to force the pedal back to neutral on my MF; just a little nudge with my toe or heel

That is possible. Just went out to the garage and checked but it seems clear. Pretty cold out. Maybe it wasn't returning to neutral. I will clean and lube the linkage tomorrow. Thank you for the help.

Cold weather can make linkage stiff and also the dampener can get stiff. Some Grease is also stiff and tacky when cold and pedals don’t return the first couple of times used.

Makes sense because the tractor moved normal. I finished the driveway and it was normal except for the coasting and no hydro whine. I'll check that tomorrow Thank you !
