Hello all,
Fairly new owner and have been having some issues. Was running it today and it died on me mid run. The fuel filter was recently changed and I can't seem to figure it out. Turns on runs for 30s to a min then dies. Battery was recently changed out but it was changed to an autozone battery. Might need to get one from kubota. Please help.

Did the problem present itself after the fuel filter change? Sounds like it could be a fuel/air issue.

It seems to have started 2 months after the filter change

More information you can give the better.... How old is your L3901? Did you buy it new or used? How old is your fuel in the tank? (did you drive it a lot before this problem?) What I'm getting at, could you have algae in the tank? (it could be blocking your outlet)

You could also have a leaf or debris in the tank blocking the outlet...

How does the engine die? Cuts out quickly (like a safety switch killed the engine?) or does the engine, slowly dies (fuel starved?) Does it start right back up or do you have to let it sit for a while?

Are you moving around in the seat when it dies? or when you are turning the tractor?
