I'm pretty serious about wanting/needing/coveting a new Kubota (something along the lines of a B7800) but am not sure that I want to make the plunge before their special 0% financing expires next month.

My question is: how often do they run 0% financing specials? Is this a one-time thing and I really should take advantage right now or can I wait for the next special to be offered in a few months or a year?

Thanks,
Tom

It ends middle of July, if it will go beyond that only Kubota knows. I expect that it will, they have been having an extremely strong year and I would expect it to continue though the rest of the summer.

I have been wandering through the local dealer for almost a year watching his used stock turn over and there seems to almost always be some kind of deal. I have not seen 0% before, but I know it said 1% last time I was there in about March.

Thanks, now I don't feel so rushed. Gives me more time to do research (and save up that down payment)!

It's pretty common. I have 0% on a Kubota purchased 13 months ago. With an increase in interest rates, I suspect the likelyhood of seeing 0% may disappear, but with a little calculating in Quickbooks etc., you will see that the cost of borrowing even at 2 or 3 % for only 3 years or so at the amounts were talking about is really quite small.

True, but that "0%" is just so psychologically appealing...

I bought the bullet at 0% and love seeing the balance due go down the same amount as the money I send in. I make a lot more on my money than 0% and feel that the payments are nothing to make, since I would have written a check for the amount anyway. Also nice to have that leverage when a problem arises........but then with Kubota, that will not happen. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Are there any fees for Kubota's 0% financing (application, documentation, etc)? Do the dealers contribute, or does Kubota foot the whole bill?

I had originally ignored the 0% offer, thinking "nothing's free", but now I'm re-considering...

From my experience there are no fees if you finance for two years. If you opt for the three years I think there is a one time 1 1/2% financing fee. That was how it would have worked for me at least. That is why I opted for the two year plan, although 1 1/2% for three years is not necissarily expensive.
