Koyker Backhoe\'s ????????

How many of you fellows have one of these backhoes? Do you like the way it works? Was the price comapative to other makes and models like it? I am looking at a 75 model with a 8' digging depth for my Cub. Any info would be appreciated on any type of 3ph hoe if you own one. I was looking at the Taylor-Way also.

Re: Koyker Backhoe\'s ????????

Jim,

I know nothing about their BH's, but I do own a Koyker 210 FEL. I purchased it new with a used Kubota L3710. I looked at their specs and was impressed. But at the same time worried about how good they really were. After the the purchase I had two leaky hoses, one phone call to Koyker and I had two new hoses via Fedex the next day. I have been able to compare my 210 against two Kubota FEL's on two different L3710's in my town. I can tell you the Koyker is superior in almost every way. It has a much heavier built bucket, larger pistons and seems much more solid. The mounting seems to be a bit less custom and the lift time is a bit slower than the Kubota, but it is still much faster than I will ever need.

Give Koyker a call, they have some very helpful people there.

I know this does not answer your question, but I hope it helps. Good luck with your choice,

Gary

Re: Koyker Backhoe\'s ????????

Jim,
I have a Koyker KB75 on a Kioti 3054 with a Koyker 155 loader. This is my second one I had a KB65 before. There backhoes are very well built and strong. I use the 75 for my landscaping/backhoe business and I'm very happy with it. I needed a cylinder replaced under warranty on the 75 the dealer called Koyker and I had one shipped to my shop in two days with shipping pre paid both ways to ship back the old one no questions asked. Price wise they are not the cheapest. For the KB75 I paid around $6800 installed with the sub frame. My only advice if you do buy one is to get the sub frame and pto pump. The only thing I don't like is the design of the sub frame. You have to remove the 3pt arms to put the backhoe on it takes me about 15 to 20 minutes to change over. If I can help with any other info let me know.

Re: Koyker Backhoe\'s ????????

Jim, I noticed you are in Mass. I buy most of all my equipment in Belchertown Mass at Orchard Hill Farm Equip. They are a Koyker dealer. If you have any other questions you can call them they are great people to deal with.
