There is a dealer close by that has a 48" Kioti tiller for $695, $400 off normal price. I have seen his adds before, and they are $400 off his normal price.

Seems pretty inexpensive. Does anybody have one, seen one, used one? Know who makes them?

Are they I-Match compatible??

Is this tiller new? That is below cost of new RT03-48. Sicma makes these tillers. This is a great buy if it's OK.

Boy I am sorry. I saw the add, decided to call. The $400 off is if you buy tractor and loader. Guess I should get the magnifying glass out and read the small print.
Sorry guys.

Guess I am still looking.

most implements products aren't i-match the cat 1 hitching spec is very very general.

Hi Steve--I know of a Kioti dealer in Owensboro, Ky that low balls some implements in with a $12,000-$15000 package deal--I did some checking and found we were neck and neck on the same product pricing (without the gimmicks)--Usually, If it sounds too good to be true? You can contact Gerry at Bad River Products if you like. He tells me they are putting the finishing touches on a adapter to convert any non iMatch implement. Dave

The small print always tells the story.... There are many good tillers on the market today..however the only one that I know of that will perfectly fit the Deere I-match is the new Deere 48 tiller...We have sold many on 2210's...

have fun with the 2210..

There are several companys makeing quick hitch implements. They do not have to specefically be JD iMatch compatable as all the quick hitches are nearly identical. The JD tiller is permanantly off set as the only JD tiller that is iMatch compatable is the 550. That is about $2,500 and fixed offset. The Frontier line is adjustable off set and quick hitch ready. I have the 1250, about 2k. I think when I was looking that Howard, Woods Bros, and Tractor supply company all sold Quick hitch ready tillers. Green spray paint is available from all dealers and it only takes a minute to make them match so you look color cordinated while tilling. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif The least expensive one I saw with a slip clutch was 1,600. I Feel the Frontier looked a lot stouter for the money. I have broken raw ground trough the woods and I am amazed at what it does, but then last year I was hand tilling. Dave

It is funny that sweet tractor calls us lowballs
He just bought 3 finishing mowers from us the other day
And we get most of our equipment from the same place also

Thanks

Hi Paul--Sorry you took offense--"Lowball" was not meant to be in the derogatory--All dealers and retailers do that in one way or another, Including Sweet Farm Equipment Co--Thanks for helping us out on the 3 mowers and maybe we can return the favor in the future?--Ken Sweet

Ken,
Would one of those "Gimmicks" be "***Email us for a free freight quote on the attachments you need*** " ? The quote is free but the freight is not.

Doesn't sound like a gimmick to me....actually it's pretty clear that it's just a free quote.

the 550 is a non current model..only the 2002 550's would fit on I-match. The new Deere model that replaces the 550 will fit I-match ...and yes is less $$$$$ than the older 550...nice machine...

JD without a Howard 550 tiller. I wondered why the availability of green First Choice tillers and finish mowers dried up. The word is Sicma has signed a deal to provide I-Match compatible finish mowers and tillers to Deere. Does this mean the FC, Big B & other vendors now have to settle for the lighter relabeled "Industrial Brand" implements (MFG-Sicma), we see the auctions selling? Why has the RT10 tillers disappeared off the FC website? "The times they are a changing!"

Mark--Would you be able to provide documentation to back this claim up or is it wishfull thinking from a few First Choice competitors?--Ken Sweet

We will have pictures for you, since you do not get off the farm much, Ken.

Hi Mark--Would really like to see official documentation or announcements from either company(not pictures). I assume that would not be a problem for someone who stays off the farm?--Ken Sweet
