My glow plug light does NOT come on when the engine is started near operating temp. 2012 DK se hst.

2nd this- there would be no reason for it to come on at or near operating temps. It is meant to preheat the combustion chamber to aid in starting when the engine is cold. If you go to start when the engine is cold the light will come on, then go out at the point the glowplugs have reached the chamber's preset temp. You can cycle them again by turning the ignition key to the LEFT and holding the key there for a short time, say 15 seconds, then turn key to crank. This will add glow plug time for very cold engine starting in Winter.

I have a 2014 Dk 40 hse with 250 hrs . It cranks fine first time but when I ran a while and shut it down it will turn over for probably 15 to 20 seconds and finally slowly start hitting and crank .. Last time out I was not gonna turn it off b4 i loaded so i idled it down and it died and wouldn't start firing til after about 45 minutes.. any help would be appreciated...
