Kioti shuttle shift question

Hello Everyone,

I have a Kioti NX5010c with the manual transmission. It has about 580 hours and has been well maintained and not abused. The question I have is related to shifting the shuttle from forward to reverse. On occasion it doesn't go into gear after shifting into reverse. If I shift back to forward and then reverse again it usually works but sometimes I may have to do that a couple of times before it goes into gear. When this occurs there is no grinding or jumping out of gear, the tractor just doesn't move when the clutch is released.

Is there linkage that can be adjusted for this? The shuttle lever seems to almost run out of room at the reverse setting while there is more room for travel at the forward position. I am hoping it may be a simple adjustment.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Sounds like the shuttle lever out of adjustment and doesn't provide enough stroke to fully engage in reverse. After checking the Michigan Iron & Equipment parts finder, looks like the Shuttle lever actuates on a cable. This means you can adjust the linkage at either end of the cable.

Thank you for the detailed information. The diagram is a huge help, I appreciate your time in looking that up. It looks like an adjustment may be all that is needed. Hopefully I can access it under the panel or under the floor.
It will probably be a few days before I work on it but will check back in with the outcome.
