Sounds like the fuel solenoid is not opening. The fuel solenoid is mounted to the front of the Injection Pump case. It has a silver zinc finish when new, may be dulled up some by now. Put your hand on the solenoid and turn the key to the "on" position. You should hear and feel the solenoid "clap" open when the key is turned to on. If no "clap", no fuel. The engine will turn over forever but will never fire.Checked relays with multi-meter put power to them and they checked out ok,but I tried switching them around anyway and it just cranks. Should I check the tube from tank to injectors? It just doesn't want to fire.
If your solenoid is not clapping, the next step is to check for voltage at the solenoid plug. 12v for one second at the pull could pin, 12v continuous at the hold coil pin. If both voltages are right, points to bad solenoid coil. If one of the 12 voltages described are missing, it will be a control issue (keyswitch, relay, timer relay, etc.).
Hope this helps
