call your dealer on the phone and get a couple. they should be able to put them in a envelope and ship fairly reasonable.

A pretty close blank is a poor substitute for a key that is cut and ready to use when purchased.

true, but it lets you butcher the top to make a mushroom style key that doesnt brake everytime you hit it with your leg getting on and off the tractor. besides i have access to a key cutter so its no biggie for me.

Amazon sells Ilco 10 pack for about $10 + shipping. For the CK10 series the Ilco 1695 works and they're stronger than original Kioti keys. My original started developing a crack and it was only a matter of time until breakage.

I did this to deal with the bump-knee-against-key problem. Short piece of PVC pipe with a can lid glued to one end, the nut that holds the ignition switch also holds this in place. For sure they didn't really think key placement out very well when they designed this.

While on the subject, these keys are easy to bump while going in/out and break easily. Next time I break one I will probably leave the indexed part in the switch and fabricate a protrusion on the front to toggle it since security is not an issue for me.
