I'm planning on getting a 2015 or newer DK10 series Kioti... Is there an oil cooler on this model, or a recommended way of adding one?

Sounds like a simple case of too much cutter for too little tractor compounded by a somewhat weak design... A cutter of the size described needs 70-90HP utility tractor.

Not true. I mow with a 8' all day long on a 51hp (42pto) if I had 70-90hp I'd be pulling 12'.

Why are oil temp gauges not standard and what's the best method for installing one? Seams like a great idea if one wants to put his tractor to work.

He needs a hydraulic trans temp gauge. However both can be added with fittings that can be gotten from you gauge supplier. Some use drain plugs. My FIL drilled and tapped the side of his trans case where there was room and tapped and installed. I have even seen dip stick ones - hot sure how well they work, There are also surface mounted ones. Just do a good search of you application.

Tis true here in the foothills especially if you use your tractor for multiple uses like running turning plows in this red clay.
