As said, if the implement you are hooking up is new, it may be pretty hard to turn the PTO shaft enough to get it to line up. I turn a good 15mins to get my finish mower hooked up the first time and needed to remove the belt covers and rotate through by pulling on the belts. Was pretty frustrating.

The bush hog I used a big screwdriver through the u-joint after pulling back the shield. In either case, the 2nd hook-up of both was much, much easier.

Hi folks...took a bit of time and fussing but wanted to update you. Connection problem was resolve by leveling the attachment to the PTO. The issue of the PTO not running was another hurdle. Since no dashboard idiot light for it, I assuming it was a bad PTO switch. So I proceeded to replace it and in the process faced all kinds of issues trying to liberate it from the dashboard casing. In the process, I jiggled the switch connections, retested and poof - the dashboard light came on, as well as the PTO. Unbelievable. I am off an running with it.

Unrelated question...what kind of tolerance does the machine have with travel angles and attachments. I have to cut perpendicular to some terraced rows...by the time the machine runs across a row and is level, the attachment is still angled on the terrace behind it. Anything I should be adjusting etc., to help, e.g., adjustments to the top link??

You adjust implements to make them level (or tilt them) by adjusting the threaded right Lifting Rod in an out.

The Lifting Rods connect to the TPH Lower Links. The right Lifting Rod is threaded. The left Lifting Rod is solid/non-adjustable.

Probably not practical to change implement orientation for your situation with manual right Lifting Rod adjust because you cannot adjust length of the right lifting rod when it is under pressure, however adding hydraulic adjustment might make adjustment on-the-fly practical for your situation.
For that you would need to add one pair of remote hydraulic ports to the rear of your Kioti to operate a hydraulic right Lifting Rod.
