They are OFA chains. I will check the exact model tomorrow.

Thanks! I work in Center harbor so I can shoot over to Tamworth pretty easily to order/ pick up them up.

I talked with the dealer I bought the tractor from and he tells me they are putting chains on that model with the R-4 tires. So, I went ahead and bought the Euro style chains from Windy Ridge Corp. in Tamworth, NH.

I don't believe there will be any room left, but I'll be trudging about as slow as that tractor will go anyway. My driveway is single lane, 400' long and if I rush, the fun will end too soon!

I will report back the results.

I have a 2610 w/ R4s and studded chains from Windy Ridge. No clearance problem at all. I put over 200 hours on it last winter blowing snow and running the tractor hard in all-terrain and did not have chains scrape or snag once. You'll be fine.

I spoke with windy ridge yesterday afternoon and they suggested the eko8 or the easy on 5 if the clearance is tight. I’m going to measure the clearance to see what I have and shoot over there after work one day .

I run the eko8 on my setup (same as yours) and have no problem at all. And I like every bit of the traction they give me.

We got about 3+ inches of fairly dry snow here in the White Mountains which I'm driving over with no problem. It will make a good base. But Monday, the forecast is for wetter, icy mix.

I'm still waiting for my tractor delivery, maybe today. But I picked up the chains from Windy Ridge on Monday. Based on my measurements at the dealer and measuring the actual chains, I should be fine. The chains are OFA8 studded on the rears and a bit lighter, diamond pattern chain for the fronts, with the same stud type.

I don't run any in the front and have never had a problem.

P.S. I'm up in Bartlett.

Well it seems there痴 a lot of us Kioti 2610 folks in the area I知 in Sanbornton . I知 planning on going to windy ridge this afternoon and pick up the chains. I measured this morning and got 1-3/4 as the tightest clearance. This seems pretty tight , is this what you have for clearance? Also to double check I have the R-4痴 Size 15-19.5

I have a CK3510 with filled R4's and clearance is tight. I had some old chains laying around that I used when I first got the tractor and they didn't fit well, I had to repeatedly adjust them, after one winter I had enough and picked up some TND Diamond Pattern chains from tirechain.com, they have a tensioner built in so it is easy to get them nice and tight, been using them for the last 4 winters without a problem. I have a steep driveway with a hairpin turn in it so I need chains on all four or I don't make it around the turn once we get some hard pack snow or any ice. I got the 2-link V Bar chains for the front, also from tirechain.com. With all four chains on I can (almost) drive like it is dry dirt.

It's tight, but by no means too tight. As I mentioned previously, I put in about 150 hours in last winter blowing snow and pulling logs out of the woods with this setup (2610, loaded R4's, Eko8 chains on rear) and never threw a chain or had anything catch due to tight clearance. I was rough on them too, my farm is on the side of a mountain and all the driveways I do are steep and gravel. I just put them back on 3 nights ago, and again, no problems. I get what all your 2610ers are worried, but it really isn't an issue.
