I notice a lot of white smoke coming out of exhaust so check injectors by cracking top nut on return line, my middle injector made no change when I cracked it. I bought a new injector and put it in.
I started it up and still a lot of white smoke..
I then cracked all the nuts again Cylinder 1 and 3 tractor would try to choke out just like before, but again with #2 injector made no difference and lots of diesel squirting out like there was a lot more pressure.
What could cause this? I tried 3 diff inject. In that cylinder and it’s like it’s plugged, but looks clear down there. Would bad heat shield cause this?

I’m not familiar with that engine, but is the injectors controlled electronically? If so I would say check the wiring going to the injector. It seems to me the injector isn’t the problem but whatever makes it fire.

It’s common rail. Mechanical. There seems to be fuel feeding to the injector from what I can tell. It’s really got me confused...

Check compression. Any other symptoms? High crankcase pressure? I'm thinking piston or valves. Compression check is first step.

If I understand correctly, in addition to replacing the #2 injector, you have also swapped the injectors from a known functioning injector.
While checking compression followed by a leak down test are great procedures, I think first I would do they simplest of often overlooked maintenance and check/adjust the valves. A valve that does not fully close could easily allow compression ti never happen.

They are, both for timing and volume. Swap injectors from cyl to cyl, bleed if mechanical. Check compression and valve lash in either order. Keep it simple.

If a mechanical injector is/was bad I'd refer to a reputable rebuilder. Cost per may be less than replacement and they will be fully tested. (btw, if any were suspect I'd send in all three. $.02)

Ck2610 is a mechanical pump/line/nozzle, indirect injection engine, not a direct injection, common rail, electronic engine.

Old/low tech.
