Kioti CK2510 HST starter

The starter motor is making grinding/groaning noises. Where is the starter motor and any tips in case I need to replace it. Thanks.

Is it the motor itself making the grinding noise or something else? The starter motor itself is usually next to the oil pan at the rear of the engine. You should disconnect the battery before messing with it. If you have to ask location of the starter I respectfully recommend you enlist the assistance of a more mechanically inclined associate.
