For the last two years I have mowed the roadside (1/4) mile along the west side of the property with my MMM on my 2305 raised just a bit. This year I have decided not to mow it with the MMM since it can takes some time doing. I have been looking at a few King Kutter rough cut mowers and am wondering if anybody has any thoughts on the 4' Pull type. http://www.ruralking.com/4-pull-kutter-40hp-gearbox.html

It will only be used to cut grass along the roadside or along the field near the waterways.

How will the pull-type be faster than your MMM? If it is smooth enough for your MMM, seems you can't do a faster job with a rotary cutter. What am I missing?

But I fully agree with any excuse to get more attachments. :D

I don't think it would be faster with the MMM. Its very slow with the way our the ditch is and the the fact the road is terrible along the shoulder. Also the 62" deck is almost to big for the ditch.

I had the 6' version and loved it. Pulled well and was almost indestructible. I used it to cut the roadside / ditchbanks also. Pulled it with a Ford 3000 thru some very tough areas. King Kutter has some very good bush hogs.
