King kutter 6ft tiller

Just picked up a new 6ft King Kutter tiller I love it got it for $1675.00 I thought that was a good deal considering most dealers were asking $2200 and up what do you guys think.

That is probably pretty good price now. I bought mine 2 years ago on sale at Atwoods for $1295 and no tax.

Man that's a great price I just bought one from ruralking here in pa and out the door with tax mine came to $1749.99 and I had a 10% coupon was 1849.99 and I thought that was a deal!! One thought we got mine home in the skid and checked the oil both the side case and the rear end needed oil and greased it it took a lot of grease so please check it also we tighten up some bolts here and there possibly came lose in shipping other than that worked great also check the pto length! Used mine today did great!

King cutter ship oil empty when purchasing thru a tractor dealer they usually take care of this but you pay a premium when buy from them. $ 1750 for 72" two years ago from used farm equipment dealer in Lynville Va he must have had dozen and a half sitting in field on skids. That was best price I could find at the times and have had no problems.

They are great bought mine a year ago for $1650 like the gentleman said make sure you put gear oil in it and grease your shaft joints sure beats a hand tiller lol

I know people probably don't like King Kutter much, but this does seem to be a well made unit. I bought one 5 year ago on sale for $1300 and have never regretted it. I've never used it to till a garden, mostly to just smooth out rough land.

Also, don't use it to till land with long grass, mow it first, lol!

We have two of them and haven't had a problem with them as of yet. They both came needing oil and grease.

I've had one for a while and used it pretty hard and it still works just fine. I keep bending the skids hitting rocks, stumps, etc.
