The wind is howling down here too.....gusting to 50mph. No snow here though.

We've not got all that much snow. Bad thing is its close to freezing.

I don't understand why folks leave twin/split trees adjacent to homes. They are known to be weak, but on the bright side, the damage doesn't look that bad.

Fun to see the snowstorm.

Well, they don't plow road over the winter and I'm unsure of its closing date. It might not be far off, but if they have campers and their vehicles parked out there, then its a problem.

Ive been watching the snowfall out in the UP with envy, not the wind as much. We've been getting blanked out here in the West, although the past few days it's beginning. We got teased with a decent October storm, but then temps jumped and moisture came as rain. Shoulder season here persists. Too wet/sloppy for mountain biking, too cold to dry out and yet too warm for snow to stick or muck to freeze..
