That’s a lot of now Arly we are down again 7.5 in for the year but it has been cold way cold but I get to enjoy that.

Ice storm here lost power for 10 days lots of tree damage over 100 trees lost

It's fruit tree pruning time. There is so much crusted over snow that I can prune without ladder or snow shoes!

Compared to last year, Great Lakes ice fishers must be overjoyed with the amount of ice the Great Lakes has currently—approaching 50% coverage. The image below is a combination chart of ice concentration and estimated thickness. The colors show concentration/coverage whereas hash marks present the estimated thickness of the ice. As expected, most bay and nearshore areas are estimated to have 1-2 feet of ice.
Statewide 40° temperatures are expected in the coming days, so ice growth and accumulation will remain stagnant.
