Arly, is your cohort a relative? Nice to have someone young interested in your line of work. Jon
No, just the kids who live down the street. Here they are short of Andrew, there boy who helps me. Yes, he has 3 sisters!Arly, is your cohort a relative? Nice to have someone young interested in your line of work. Jon
Im jealous! We had a good start to the season here(WA State) back in November, but it's been one long high pressure system for us the past 3'ish weeks. We need a refresh. Although, Im on the sidelines with a torn rotator cuff.... Supposedly next week we have a storm rolling, but temps are going to be dangerously close to rain..Snowing rather nicely here now.
No.. Rollers aren't good at breaking down snow enough for skating but they are good at compressing a larger volume of snow, like 4" and up so you can work with it later. Drags do much better at breaking down the flake wings, but take inordinate amount of HP to be towed in deeper snow falls. Like 5 and higher. The drag in the lower photo is in to much fresh snow.So the roller is for skate style of cross country skiing? And the sled for track skiing. Just wondering. Jon
