We walk over flowing creeks all the time. Creeks don't freeze over here but we get enought snow that we don't see them untill spring.

Sometimes on lake ice.

We did a creek gorge ski this morning and here is some pics of that. I think I'll post more later. In some you can clearly see individual snowfall lines
