Agree, the Andersons are also good. I mentioned the SAE connector as this is what comes on many charger / maintainers. I try to stay out of the *** lives of my connectors. :laughing:

I see your point, but when you start talking about plugging some things into other things, well....

My Kubota is old, but it does have a hot wire going to the starter solenoid.

Can't get to the battery plus side without removing the computer. This is a downside of the xr.

It is hard as heck, but not impossible. I connected the permanent ring terminals for a Battery Tender Jr. to the + and - bolts on my XR4046. It took lots of patience and a little cussing but it got done. Use a nut driver with an extension and come in from the front of the machine.

After four years I replaced the OEM battery. Worked still but when checking the positive terminal it was burning through the battery post and the battery cable connection.
When I replaced it with a new battery that had dual posts I just used the smaller post and also attached a Battery Tender. Plug that in and your good to go.
