I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a new 4010 Mule. I've been window shopping at present but was interested in the MSRP.
I've bought many new atv's in the past with very little success haggling the price. The MSRP is $9,999 I'm hoping I'll be able to get a below MSRP price.
What has been your experience's in pricing UTV's?

Matt:confused:

I'll be following this thread. I am hankering to sell my 620 I gator to get a 4010 4 seater.

In my area the dealers are now competing for business and adjusting prices. I do not have a percent savings. Pending use, I would recommend also testing a Polaris Ranger to compare to the Mule.

That's what I am going to do today, I am looking for a 4 seater else I would just keep the gator. The Ranger seems like a lot more vehicle than the mule on specs.

My brother and father just went in on a Ranger 500 four seater. We had access to 660 Mule four seater and there is no comparison in my opinion. Don't recall the exact Mule model but I believe it was their top model and had power steering. It worked fine for hard surfaces and slow work, but beyond that they are night and day different.

Cool. Headed to town to check them out, will report back!

I'm looking for a work utv not a toy, looked hard at the RTV just can't justify the cost. I've tried out the ranger and it's more inline with the teryx than mule.

Not sure I would call the Ranger a toy. I would agree that the Razor is more or less a toy and is very similar to the Teryx. Believe the tow rating on the full size Ranger is 2000 lbs or so. Been seeing them advertised lately on RFD.

Anyone familiar with LANDMASTER? I saw their ad and wrote in 2011. Seemed like a good machine but I was not yet ready for an ATV.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Landmaster UTV Quote Request

From larry bryan

Rob, thanks for your interest in our products! The sale price of the LM650 4 x 4 is $6,799. These are made in Louisiana, with the headquarters right here in Fort Wayne, Indiana. It is truly an American made product!

There is a winch available for this unit. The cost of the 2500# winch is $350 (Reg. $435).
You would also need the 2" front receiver for the winch. It is around $69.

I would need to contact our shipping Dept for an exact price to ship the UTV. I am guessing it would be around $400. We would not collect any sales tax.
Please let us know if you have any questions, or if you want an exact quote for shipping. Thanks, Larry in Indiana.

I looked at a new 4010 4 seater, ranger 500 crew and ranger 800 crew all side by side today. We based our decision on going hands on. Dealer carries both brands and he lined them up, backed off and let us go hands on.
I have a 620 xuv gator now we use 75% working our place ( use it almost every day) and 25 % hunting / riding over to the neighbors.

Vote between me, wife, and little boy we are getting 500 crew ranger, unanimous. Chose before we even asked prices.

To answer op question, 12 to 15% off msrp could be had fairly easy.

My initial thoughts were to go with the 800 or 900 Ranger and unsure if regular or crew. After seeing the two side-by-side, no pun intended, the 500 seems more practical and nimble in the woods and the crew is nice for all but the roughest off road conditions.

I think you will be very pleased. Congratulations.

We thought the same, 800 crew was a little too big / wide for our uses.

The 500 Crew is a great vehicle and is easier to maneuver around tight spots compared to the 800. The 500 is also a very solid and reliable engine.

Figured I'd update the thread, I ended up buy a 2013 Mule 4010 in green. I'll be picking it up this weekend. Dealer took roughly 13% off total price.
I was offered a demo unit in red for more of a discount but opted for the new unit instead. I'll post some pics this weekend.

I really like my 3010trans. It will carry six people if needed and is built like a truck. It ain't no racer but I bought it to work not go fast.

Hope you don't have problems whit the Choke in Cool weather. Up here in Michigan they hate the cold darn near have to ride with the choke 1/2 out. I would like to believe it was just mine but I own 2 and have the same problem and a buddy has choke issues as well.
