K46 Oil level

Just rebuilt the K46 in my L130. I filled it with 2 quarts + an additional 4 oz. jsut to top it off. This brought it to within 3/4" top of trans fill hole. I have ran it about 3 hrs. since and it performed great the whole time. Yesterday I started it and backed it out and trans whined for about 5 min. until warmed up. It has done this before when cold. Is this normal or does trans maybe need topped off some more?

I did the same thing I needed to put in about another 1/2 quart works fine now.
