- Bolens g174 / Iseki tx1510/2160 K3B engine
I have a bolens g174 (tx1500 or 1510)
Was slowly losing power over the last few years but tractor ran good for the most part... started missing a little bit at 2000 rpm and above.. checked compression and discovered it to be very low... 205-225 on all 3 cylinders...
Just tore it down to check things out and see what I will need for a rebuild, in see there are kits out there and I'm getting confused...
I see there are kits with sleeves, however i dont think the k3b has sleeves from the factory. Can anyone tell me if there are actually sleeves in it? I can feel no ridge on top or bottom, has a very nice tapered edge so seems like all engine block to me.
