Hi,

I'm just starting to get a Jubilee running again after a long spell in dry dock due to a broken steering wheel shaft. I cleaned all the crud out of the carb and sediment bowl and now she'll at least start.

What should I gap the plugs to for a 12 volt system? Whats a good initial setup for the carb needles? What have I not even thought of ???? (lots yes)

Thanks and glad to join you fellas!

points gap remains the same as when she was 6v... yer high voltage did not change ANY.. high voltage at the plug is based on air gap and atmosphere.. since yer gapping yer plugs the same.. the arc potential is the same...

.025 on plugs AND points.

I'd start with main needle 1.5-2 turns out ( fuel needle, out to enrich, in to lean ).. and idle air needle at about 1.5 turns out ( in to enrich, out to lean )

get a service manual, parts manual and owners manual.

change the oil.. check all 3 rear sump fluids.. hyds, tranny, diffy.. etc.
