My brother works in a machine shop and brought me some 2.25 x 14.25 dia. steel plates for wheel weights for my John Deere 750! all i have to do is drill them and paint them. we weighed one on the scale and it was 107 lbs! those should help with the traction! i'llpost some pics when they are done.

Sounds like a good deal to me, they can be real knuckle busters to work with though, I guess you only have to put them on once. Do you have your tires filled?

Yea i have the tires loaded with 25 gals of water and no-burst about 200 lbs and if needed a 300lb block of concret

I had the dealer fill mine,not sure how much weight that adds but I made an 800 lb ballast block which gives it plenty of traction.
