You get it from Reedy Creek? They carry BH brand stuff.

I got the BH6 with mine. Seems to be just fine, but only 1 season in. Lots of dimples in the top already (I have LOTS of rocks). The rubber guard along the front quickly tore off...I'd say at probably 12 hrs of use. Don't remember "doing anything" to snag it, just ripped a hole in the rubber at one end & went downhill from there. I mangled the tailwheel assy pretty bad and had to buy a new fork. Not the bush hog's fault - I must have hit a tree turning or something. Didn't even feel it....just noticed a little ditch in the center of my mowing path. Mine didn't come with chains for the PTO shaft covers (the ones that keep it from spinning). Figured would be ok until "i got around to it". It wasn't. I quickly mangled that plastic cover. Also didn't realize that you could angle the bush hog to make the PTO shaft hit the deck (didn't have hydraulic top link on last machine so with top link fixed in position to have BH set for mowing wasn't possible). So that finished off the plastic PTO shaft guard for me.

NX + 6' bush hog is a lot longer than what I was used to. And much stronger machine. So it's easier for me to tear something up :) But even with me doing my best to tear it up, still works great. Have cut lots of saplings over the 1" rating ...mostly pines so pretty soft. Zillions of baseball-sized rocks hit. Compared to others around same price, I can't gripe about durability so far.

There's a link somewhere in this forum for a scanned pdf version of the NX manual. Probably not more than a few pages back. That can get you started before you have the printed one that comes with yours. It's an older one with a few errors on fluid capacities, but 99% seems the same as my printed one otherwise.

Mine is in Welcome, so feel free to come check it out or see how the BH brand box blade, bush hog, & tiller are holding up. About 40 miles from Cleveland.

I ended up ordering the workshop manual for mine.

Was Like $170, but if I call saying that xxxx part number is defective and a picture to boot, shouldn't have any issues with dealers ordering the wrong part based off a 'description' of a problem. It's nearly 2 inches thick, so forget about scanning it.

Hi CMV. Thanks for the reply. I did order it from Reedy Creek. I don't have the tractor yet, but I think Matthew is a great guy. I would recommend him to anyone.

I'm waiting to hear back from Matthew on a quote for 6' BH16 (medium duty w/slip clutch and chain guards on the front). I just decided that it would be worth getting something more heavy duty. I don't plan to cut my woods down with it, but if I can get some of the overgrowth it will be worth it.

I think I watched your video on YouTube from a shooting range?

.

. Oh, and I do have the PDF owner's manual. Thanks.

Yeah I think he told me $200. 00? I def. want one. But at some point I have to reign things back $$$-wise. I started with a $10k budget based on buying a Ford 3930 and a couple implements. That plan went out the window pretty quick when I started looking at the things I want to do with the tractor. Oh well, this forum really is pretty good at spending other people's money...

Next on the list is a grapple. I think I'll use my winter cleaning up the edges of the field, then whatever I can reach in the woods. I won't be able to reach much, but I can probably cleanup 2-3 acres with it. Not planning to level the woods, just need to open things up some. Several decades of neglect have some spots looking like a haunted forest.

You won't be disappointing with the Kioti NX or Reedy Creek. I got mine from him a couple years ago and they have been great. Let me know if you need any attachments as I have a couple I am looking to get rid of.

Yeah, that sounds like my videos.

I have a 72" rock bucket I rarely use. If you need to hold off spending the $ for the grapple for a while, you could borrow it. Not nearly as efficient as a grapple, but can get a lot of awkward stuff that regular bucket can't. Would be good for gathering/moving a lot of brush to a burn pile.

I can't get it to separate rocks from dirt though which is why I bought it. My dirt is all red clay so everything just sticks together, nothing sifts well.....

Matthew is the best to deal with. I did a LOT of shopping when buying mine and he was by far the best person I talked with at any dealership in our area.
