One big roll there. It'll make a lot of little pieces. Don't you just hate it when that happens?! Patience will get it done.

I have an air powered cut off tool. I think next time I will try that instead of my 12" bolt cutters. Once I cut most of in pieces, I found a big stump and started trying to turn the rotor backwards. The tolerances on the FAE are such that it's very tight but with enough force, it will start to tear the wire out.
I'd like to find whoever dumped that stuff and kick 'em in the butt. :D

Chain link fence buried in the brush. Had to remove rear cutting bar, torched out in pieces.

Last fall I was mulching brush behind a barn when I thought the pebbles hitting the bottom of the Rayco were making a ringing sound. I figured I was imagining it so I made another pass. Definitely ringing: ding-ding-ding-ding...

I had hit buried fence and chicken wire. Scattered all over this little barnyard were sharp, rusty, wire-like steel bits. I spent the next few hours with a rake and a roofers rolling magnet filling every box, bucket and wheelbarrow I could find. I called it the Tetanus Procedure.

After hearing these stories, I know I got off easy!

Somehow sucked up an old dump truck tire whole earlier in the season. Had to remove the bearings, pulley, belt and drop the drum just to get it out.
