What's that? about 2 hours with a good pair of cutters?

Lots of that around the property. Fortunately only tangled with it once, on my riding lawn mower.

Ah take the cutting torch to it. 10 minutes and its off. Still not nice to see though. :(
You think!
been at 4 hrs ,first with the bolt cutter till i could not reach the wire between the drum and the frame anymore and then with the torch till i was trough the pack
But that stuff is packed in as tight as a nuns c''''', i can't get the drum to turn at all either way to try to cut and unwrap that tangled mess.:confused2:
I hope i don't have to take that drum out if that would even be possible the way it is jammed in there:mad:

It was an bunch of old wire that some A-ole in the distant past had rolled up and thrown in the bush.:mur:

AN easy way to get wire out that's packed in tight is to use a gas axe and a chain which I wrap around the rotor so it's turning the rotor in reverse, then hook the other end to something solid and quietly move the machine back. It does no take long to get the rotor spinning freely. May have to do this several times.:D

Yes, tony is right. Wrap chain around drumm and back up... Use your torch, measly peasy.... In fact I will be doing the same this am.... Good luck!!!!

It took another couple hours prying and cutting with the hot wrench but i got if off.:dance1:
It would not have been so bad if these cutters bolted to the drum on the frame side hadn't been in the way.
Now i know how to do it will make the next time(i hope it never comes but i have so the feeling it will;)) a bit easier.
I took some pics but left the camera in the shop.

One big roll there. It'll make a lot of little pieces. Don't you just hate it when that happens?! Patience will get it done.
