last weekend my cheap HF 14" cut off saw died on me. I was pushing it little bit too hard and it just stopped working.
So - to be able to keep working on my project - I got a tool I was thinking about for years - Milwaukee Sawzall. Wow, that's something! It runs and cuts like "abused" ape if you get my point. I am very impressed with it, wished I got it long time ago.
And this morning, I decided to take a closer look at the cut off - if I can replace just the motor or what can be salvaged from it. Well, long story short - the winding looked fine, I took out brushes and put them back (kinda Microsoft fix
) and it works now.
Got quite lucky i quess - wonder what strike of a bad luck is coming now
