Heated steering wheels?
I used to laugh at that, too. Then after chainsawing or turning steel wrenches in the colder months, the heated wheel actually returns some feeling back into your fingers instantly, even before the cab warms up.
But I hear driving with gloves on like our parents did is really sweet.
I'd rather wear my gloves which are usually on anyway in the winter. Then problems working my wife's cars touch screen infotainment center usually arises though. Before long I'm listening to the chipmunks sing Xmas songs on kids bop until I reach my destination.
Wear gloves while driving? LOL
Who the hell wants to do that? You lose all the control you’d have with bare hands. Try plowing snow with gloves on? No workee so good.
Heated wheel MUCH better.
Time to stop living like your parents did.
Hey lets drive with work gloves on! Hey lets sit on 120 degree vinyl seats. Let’s lean across the seats and crank down that passenger window. Excuse me while I get out and check my hitch to trailer alignment 7 times, or crash my bumper into the trailer. Or, let’s waste 10 minutes checking air pressure on tires while it’s raining? Let’s shift gears on the manual transmission so we lose traction on ice and slide sideways into a tree. I don’t need no stinkin built in guidance! I can just prop my cell phone up on the dash and be distracted by it while I drive-that’s real safe! Let’s get a huge V-8 and get 8MPG!
Anyone in this conversation other than me under 70 years old? lol
