Looks like you are stuck in thinking that companies don't sell out on quality for profits.
Just an update. 1 year warranty is up. The only issue so far was the loose relay. No problems since. I've only got just over a hundred miles on it though. The last time I changed the oil(about 2 months ago), it was somewhat overfull. Apparently not uncommon on efi engines that run rich until warmed up, my wife uses the clone in the yard/garden and will literally drive 15 - 20 yards and shut off to load weeds.brush etc( not complaining mind you).Anyhow, i've been making a point to get it warmed up good and the oil level is stable. I'll post any problems.
Now that is funny right there:laughing::laughing::laughing:So you put 100 miles on it in one yr?
They put that warranty on it because people buy side by sides to abuse...my Kubota RTV 500 only came with a 12 month warranty and everyone compares their build quality to a tank. That said I've had it for 2 yrs and no major problems yet.:thumbsup:If Polaris, Honda, Yamaha are so great then why do they only offer a 6 month warranty on their machines???
Anyway...I don't need your opinion anyway. I go by facts...
If you read his post and not take it out of context. He said his wife uses it in the yard moving 15 - 20 yds at a time. Of course he is not going to put lots of miles on it using it that way.
Reality is that other companies can make a similar product with similar quality for less $$$.
$3000 for a Polaris, Honda or Yamaha sticker is absurd.
One of the companies that make one on these UTVs makes engines/sub assemblies for Yamaha. So I guess Yamaha is using China made products too.
If Polaris, Honda, Yamaha are so great then why do they only offer a 6 month warranty on their machines???
Anyway...I don't need your opinion anyway. I go by facts...

They just finished replacing the clutch and cvt belt. 2 more months left on the warranty and I am hoping something else will go wrong with it so the dealer/manufacturer have to take it back. I like it, but it just keeps breaking and leaving me stranded one way or the other. The other one was returned to the dealer at a significant loss - replaced clutch, cvt belt, and brake master cylinder. Bought my Massey Ferguson used (2001) and only an alternator replaced during that time - a few lost arguments with locust spurs, but that's about it.

I purchased a new Rhino in 2006,all I have done is replace the tires and change the oil and filters.just another update. Still low miles and no further issues. I thought my crankcase was overfull again, but I drained and measured volume and was spot on. Must have been on uneven ground. The rubber grommets that latch the hood are dry rotted, as is the shifter boot. Dont know if this is common on real Rhino or not. The chinese tires are pretty flimsy( had a couple flats from beaver sapling stobs at farm) but plug easy and hold air now. Also the dealer where I bought mine is still selling this "brand". I assumed he had quit as I haven't seen any on his lot lately. Overall, I would say I am satisfied.
