How do you get to that seat? I've took off the front sheet metal and it's a pain in the butt to get to those holes.

tsavoy..
Youre right the seat's are a pain in the butt..lol,If I remember correctly I pulled the seat along with the piece of 1/4" square plate that the seat actually mounts to.Flipped it all over as an assembly rebolted the seat to the plate(WITH LOCK WASHERS ...like it should have had in the first place)added a couple of drops of blue locktite as an added precaution. Then reinstalled the plate steel back to the tractor..
Good luck, and again welcome to the forum
Sean

Yea had to take off some sheet metal, but I got the nuts on! So far every thing is good, I wonder what's the best size cutter and disk I can pull behind that thing ???

Good deal, welcome to TractorByNet.

The cotter pin on the hinge of my 3016 seat failed before it hit the 5 hour mark. I went back with a flat washer and a heavier-duty cotter pin. I also had to tie the female portion of the seat belt up to where I could grasp it; it kept working it's way into the darnedest places.........now, I reach for the PTO lever and its right there.

tsavoy..
I run a 6 foot hog through real heavy grass/brush and I dont even know it's there..I also have run a 10 footer that I borrowed from a neighbor just to see what it would do.The 10 foot did fine in low range 2nd..While I wouldnt win any speed record's with the 10 it actually did ok.. As far as disc...The only thing I have is an old Ford Motor Co 16x16 that it pulls with ease...

Ok that sounds good! Ill probably end up buying a 6ft, I have an old 7ft bushog I might try, it's on heavy SOB, it should lift it I'm hoping. By the way, what is a 16x16 ? Is that the width and length ??
