The money my new tree guy has in that lift  . 69' straight up or 39' across. No more hangers left and my power line lane cleared.

Just had him drop everything. He used a stihl 201T and a husky 525 polesaw.

Me and wife did the clean up.
Using the Echo 490 hack ported 50cc and Farmertec G111 clone of stihl 200T 35cc tophandle and her just using the battery pruner sawzall again.

He loved that idea and told me I saved around 4 hrs of labor cost.

Got some good saw and chain test wood saved from the busted up leaders.

That jail brake he used he said he went to over the portawrap. It is so smooth for one guy using lowering heavy limbs etc down.

What is the purpose of the cable on the tree ? Is that to be able to just use the lift to move the section after he cuts it or something ?

Local guys saw he said stihl dealer been trying to fix for 2 years. Told him get it back I'd like to check it out. After fixing another saw for him.

Echo 3000 that has been at the local stihl dealer up north of me. I went into this same dealer once years back and never went back. I had seen enough just checking on parts for saws. 🤦

This is that guys echo TH that he said they have had 2 years throwing parts at it. Tag shows 3 years.

Took me all of 5 seconds to tell him whats wrong. Low psi scored I bet right while still there. I just SMH.

Newer saw 2020 MTD craftsman 42cc. Cost 200-230 new. They come with wrong tune. Owner said never ran right.
Least this one did.

Had to pull carb do to hard plastic wouldnt allow epa tool to line up. Pulled carb to do that and will fix that hard plastic crap in a bit.

Was total dog when came in horrible running.

Pretty peppy after initial rough tune. Will fine tune later.

See if cuts like a normal 42cc later.

Has that small plug the newer saws running too.
Walbro fuel filter style I havent seen before with that brass at back.

Will be another happy owner. Shame how some saws and other ope come from factory.

Had to break out the burr with hand piece to open up the hard plastic used to line up to H L.

Now I can get epa tool on them to fine tune.

Amazing the difference from factory settings.
🤦‍♂️

Cuts like any other 42cc ones.

What is the contraption in front of the tire on the lift?

Looks like it can drive the lift around on the ground without a tow vehicle.
