Be glad you guys can start your own saws still. My dad after his battle with cancer lost the strength to start his own saws. He is in his 80's now.
I hooked him up with a easy start 180 for trimming and he bought a battery polesaw for around his place.

But he can still out work my azz up cutting on the hills. I start the saws and hand him one. I have bad lungs with COPD so that is why on that part. I have to take breaks to catch my breath.

Love it when we are cut together and set on a log and hearing some of the old stories he has. He said his dad never owned a powersaw. They used crosscuts and axes together. He still has those too.

That's one thing I miss about my dad. Once in a while, we'd just sit somewhere and he'd tell me a story about his past.

I got to hear a lot more from my father in-law after my father passed away. Mostly while fishing.... and a few beers. :p

The Echo's all have reduced effort recoils btw. Spring assist.
Spring assist not the same thing as easy start. I have that crap on my echo and dislike it myself. But they have their place for some folks.

Easy start you can wind up with short pulls with 2 fingers and once wound it spins to start. Actully pretty slick. takes no effort whatsoever.

I assume those types of starts have a spring you wind up, then it spins the saw for you?

Do you still have this saw? Would you sell it?

@joecoin the one for sale looks even nicer then one I had. Their asking 135. But they are over 1hr 20mins 1 way from me. So 3hr round trip.

You want link in PM?

I'm up near Sandusky, so if they are north of you I would take a look.

Thanks,
