Had the pull rope break on my 2511T and while trying to put a new rope in last night, I accidentally sprung the spring. What an absolute nightmare trying to wind that spring back by hand and getting it into the holder it fits in. My fiance was out in the shop with me at the time and witnessed me throwing crap across the room exclaiming "I GIVE UP!" a time or two. I am sure it was quite comical from her viewpoint.

I never bought the tool. Even though I have to do more then most. But they do make a clone tool for such. @JeepHead

Dont get in a hurry and forget a part like I did one. That makes a real mess.
I was ticked and didnt take my time to remove after installing it.

Couple mins back in again.

Guy helped me compare a Farmertec G255E easy start to a Stihl 250C easy start.

The farmertec 255/250 version of easy start, works like the 180 version and also looks like it too.

Comparing because the cost for oem parts for this easy start stuff is ridiculous.

You can buy the whole clone ES saw cheaper then a recoil and flywheel set up. SMH. If was ever needed.

I have one but it is not like the 353. Makes a good backup saw to carry along with another saw that will do most of the work. Well unless it has a hissy that day.

450 just the more expensive version with better parts used then it's cousin saw Poulan 5020.

Owned both to compare.

Since I paid Poulan price for it, it's all good. Local Drunk bought it new to go back to work, used it one day then went back to drinking. Got it for a song when he ran out of beer again.....

Least they finally updated them. 445S 450S

No longer just plastic at bottom.
