Junk in the trunk

Pulled my high pressure filter for its "yearly" replacement.

Yuck. Now to figure out what died and where...

When I replaced mine, it did not look to bad but was restricting flow enough that the indicator said to change it.

It is a high pressure hydraulic filter. I thought it was in the tram pump circuit but I believe Carl said Terry said it was in the power steering circuit. If I think of it, i will trace it.

I know exactly what you are talking about, and I know way more than any of you do about the high pressure filter. Just to prove that you are my equals in this area of knowlege, would you please post a pic of the device's location and please include the indicator too.

I don't think my 1430 is equiped with a high pressure filter. If it is, it doesn't look anything like that.
