I know I've been all over the place with different threads with this install but different issues had popped up to slow the progress. If you fella's have read the "continue" thread then you'll understand. I received the two fittings from Dave's Tractor in Redding a 4pm today, ran down and had two hoses made up and (another 53 bucks) got home and spent about an hour hooking all the hoses up. Took a bit longer than I expected because of "room" issues. Started the tractor, checked for regular function, that was good. Went and fed the horses (left the tractor running) came back and ran the hydraulics some more....NO LEAKS....worked as normal. I was a bit, no a bunch, worried because "they" told me to hook this up "dry", no tape or thread sealer. Never did it that way before, everyone uses teflon tape, well it works so I guess "they" were right. Tomorrow I'm going to hook up the electrical (4 wires) drop the bucket, pick up the plow and see if the hydraulics to the front actually work. It's really not a difficult installation IF you have the right fittings to start with. That's what caused all the delays for me. THANKS AGAIN DAVE.....

These BSP fittings don't use tape or paste as sealant.

All it's used is a copper washer or a steel washer with a rubber ring inside like this:
