The models with a third hose don't work any better or any worse. It is just a different way to plumb the system. Depending on the tractor, it can be plumbed different. Just like the 1250 I had and the 1440 that I have now. They both had three hoses going from the tractor to the loader and two hoses to the backhoe. The next size frame used two hoses from the tractor to the loader and three from the loader to the backhoe. The way my system is, the fluid is feed to the loader first and with the larger tractor size the fluid goes to the backhoe first.
