JOHN DEERE 'R' INJECTORS

i am rebuilding an 'R' and my injector tips are banged up pretty good. does anyone know where i might have them repaired? john deere has no parts. can the nozzles be machined? are there any other nozzles or injectors that will interchange with the 'R' ? thanks for any help...........jon @ 480-694-7649

A friend just yesterday told me he could not find 4 hole tips for R injectors ANYWHERE. And he has talked to Roger Marlin and a couple other guys who routinely supply the 2 cylinder Diesel market with fuel system parts and service. So far as I know, other two cylinder injectors match up with differrent piston bowls and will not be satisfactory working with your R pistons. You can call Roger at the Two Cylinder Diesel Shop in Conway, MO and get the story direct from him. 417-468-7000 Roger did the injectors and transfer pump over for my 730D about 15 years ago and I recommend him HIGHLY.
