Is the JD polyurea grease compatible with lithium greases?

I only have the top of the line JD Polyurea (not much more than the others) and purchased a chipper that made a comment about polyurea and lithium greases incompatibilitu. One checklist I saw said polyurea conventional is not compatible but shear table version is.

The JD writeup says "Compatible with most other types of grease" but no mention of the popular lithium.

I would think lithium would be in the "most other types of grease" since it is probably the most common type of grease of all time.

This brings up an interesting issue. If you buy a tractor or other equipment, how do you know what grease to use if the manufacture doesn't specifically call it out in the manual? Does it really make a long term affect that a homeowner/non-professional user would see?
