John Deere LTR180, circa 2005, value?

It's in great shape, low hours, one owner (me). I bought it new for $4500 in 2005 or late 2004. Love it, has a rear discharge clamshell bagger, no tubes up the sides, no getting off the tractor to empty the clamshell, whole thing is built like a tank. Any ideas what it would be worth today? I have a guy wanting to buy it but I dont even really want to sell it *unless* he's close to market value, but info ion these is hard to find. Thanks for any input.

Seems like they range from $2-3K pending condition. The trouble with selling it is you wont get anything close to this for that price now. You would need to get into the X300 series to be similar I believe they are $5K range.

Thanks much. So you know about these models? Are they something of a unicorn, very valuable still? Hard to even find info on them but I've always loved the thing 110%. So well built.

This looks like today's equivalent... just as pricey as when I bought it 15 years ago...

If you dont need something anymore and it just sits get rid of it. Stuff that isnt used is liability on many fronts. If you do use it then keep it.
